This is a lovely design well representative of early century style in England - exotisms (imported from colonial iconography ) like the arabesque guard on edges are combined with a vernacular theme like flowers. But is surprising that the thorny tails of the flowers start showing fluences as Art Nouveau. Very intersting item and great conditon. We have more of these tiles (almost 400 ) that were de-installed from an old aristocratic house in Montevideo so if you are thinking in an installation this is a lovely tile , a great oportunity that your guest will valorate.
