Cement on reverse was carefully removed. Surface glazing is perfect with smooth surface and balanced crazing that is usual for majolica. Color is firm and tile is well painted. Only minimal scratches and imperceptible tiny chips may be seen on borders and surface, but this is nothing for a more than 100 year old architectural piece.
